Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors) teams up with Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once on This Island) and director Mike Ockrent (Educating Rita, Me and My Girl) to bring a Broadway feel to this Victorian classic.
Join Kingston's musical theatre community in celebrating the 'spirit' of the season with Bob Cratchitt (Danny Young), Tiny Tim (Wyatt Flacao) and their family. Fifty local actors fill the stage with song as they convince Scrooge (Bill Morrow) to change his hard-hearted ways and embrace a kinder way to see his fellow man.
Directed by Charles Robertson, with Music Direction by Darrell Bryan, Choreography by Sasha French and costumed by Leigh Pritchard - this show is proven to please. Bill Morrow owns the role of Scrooge, as he challenges his ghostly demons with disbelief. Randy Johnson is an imposing, chain-rattling, Ghost of Jacob Marley. Yona Harvey's beautiful voice fills the auditorium as the Ghost of Christmas Past, and her sister ghost, Christmas Present, is brilliantly sung by Lee-Ann Peterson. Sydney VanCamp's eerie spectre of the Future sends shivers down the spine as she points out what may come to pass unless Scrooge changes his ways.
