Simon Brault

Originally from Montreal, Simon Brault has been Director General of the National Theatre School of Canada since 1997. A long-time advocate for culturalcommunitiesand a self-described cultural development activist, Mr. Brault is convinced that the cultural milieu needs to increase its connections with other players in society. Brault initiated Journes de la culture/Culture Days, a massive undertaking first held in 1997 to popularize theartsand culture across Quebec, and now across the country, including Kingston.

Justin Langlois

Justin Langlois is an artist working in integrated media and social practice. Mr. Langlois runs an artist-led interdisciplinary creative research collective in Windsor, ON, working to explore and unfold curiosities around locality, infrastructures, and creative practice leading towards civic change.


Annalee Adair
Manager of Community Engagement and Education at City of Kingston & Director at POPart Consulting Services

Annalee specializes in community development, with a focus on cross sector collaboration, systems change, creativity and learning. Over the past 20+ years, her experience in the public, private and voluntary sector at the local, provincial and national level has provided her with expertise and knowledge in: partnership development, capacitybuilding strategies and network development, social media and interdisciplinary event management

Sheesham and Lotus

Sheesham and Lotus are Kingston musicians, Teilhard Frost and Sam Allison. Both are enthusiastic historians of old-time fiddle and banjo music, learning from the old masters across the regions south of the Mason-Dixon line. Through personal instruction, perseverance and osmosis they have learned harmonica, jaw-harp, flatfoot and song, much to the joy of Kingston market goers and their fans across the globe.
