"...when a band titles itself something as definitive and iconic as The Celtic Kitchen Party, the feeling that you’re looking for is right there in the name, and it’s a testament to this crew that this is exactly what they deliver: a rousing good time that’s as infectious as it is endlessly fun..." - BYTOWN SOUND

The Celtic Kitchen Party is a dynamic and spirited musical ensemble, infusing the traditions of Celtic music with their own modern twist. The band delivers a unique blend of contemporary flair and deep-rooted heritage. Take our word for it, this group of talented musicians delivers a rousing and unforgettable experience.

Founded in 2009, The Celtic Kitchen Party has its origins in the heart of Celtic culture, drawing inspiration from the lively kitchen gatherings and musical sessions that have been a hallmark of Celtic communities for generations. Their music encompasses a wide range of styles within the Celtic tradition, including the jigs and reels of Ireland, the soulful melodies of Scotland, and the foot-stomping rhythms of Cape Breton.

All of the lads' energy and experience has culminated in four albums (available in CD and DIGITAL) through the band, and on all major platforms. These albums continue to be seated somewhere between original upbeat party tunes, and beautiful storytelling, to their creative re-imaginings of traditional favourites.

The Celtic Kitchen Party is known for their exceptional talent and diverse instrumentation, featuring Brian Flynn (fiddle, bodhrán), Colin Skinner (tin whistle, bagpipes), Andrew Vanhorn (acoustic guitar), Scott Jackson (electric guitar), Jeremy Daw (bass) and Nathan Crockett (drums).

With a contagious energy and a penchant for engaging the audience, The Celtic Kitchen Party's performances, and dedication to their craft, have earned them a devoted following. They have performed at the following notable venues: Iqaluit Humane Society Fundraiser (NUNAVUT), Grey Cup Festival (2017 Atlantic Schooners & Spirit of Edmonton, 2023 East Social House Hamilton Ti-Cats), Brockville & Bath Tall Ships Festivals, Stirling Festival Theatre, The Perth Kilt Run, Fort Henry, Cornwall and Kingston Rib Fests and many of Ontario's Canadian Forces Bases.

Be transported to a cozy, spirited kitchen party, where the music flows as freely as the laughter, and the spirit of the Celtic tradition lives on.
