Canadian alternative band, Cowboy Junkies, are famous for their unique blend of country, blues and folk rock. Cowboy Junkies have earned not only critical attention and a cult like following, but also multiple Juno nominations for Group of the Year. In January, the band participated in the CBC's The Strombo Show's Hip 30, which brought together Canadian bands to commemorate The Tragically Hip's 30th anniversary.
