The night before they ship out to a growing conflict in a small country called Vietnam, a group of Marines host a party on their final boys night of trouble and debauchery. After Corporal Eddie Birdlace invites Rose, an awkward and idealistic waitress, to this party in order to win a cruel bet with his buddies, she is able to make him see that there are more to women and people than what is on the outside and opens his heart and mind to the power of compassion. This heartfelt show is a moving demonstration about the depths of human emotion, the beauty of innocence, and the power of musical theatre, performed by some of the greatest youth talent that Kingston has to offer.
