From the sumptuous satisfaction of Goulet’s Symphonic Chocolates to Ligeti’s titanic Violin Concerto to the plumbing of the emotional depths of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, this concert gives us a glimpse into the sound worlds of three extraordinary composers, and all the treasures, surprises, and delights found therein.
