The Kingston Symphony presents:
Peter & The Wolf
Sunday November 5 2017 2:30p.m.
The Grand Theatre, 218 Princess St, Kingston
Prokofiev's timeless musical tale of a young boy and his animal friends is brought to life by the Kingston Symphony. Listen as Peter walks to the melody of the strings, the bird flies to the tune of the flute, the cat slinks along to the sound of the clarinet, and the wolf misbehaves to the notes of the French horn. Find out how all the characters are brought to life by the other animal-inspired works including a short film commissioned by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, by Kjell Boersma called DAM! The Story of Kit the Beaver, with accompanying score by Erica Procunier.
Performing at the Grand Theatre, 218 Princess St, Kingston.
Currently available as part of a subscription to the Kingston Symphony season.
Regular tickets available starting Monday, August 28th at 12noon.
