What Brings You In is an interactive, deep-listening experience presented as a 65-minute live performance for simultaneous in-person and online audiences.
Based on interview research and lived experiences of talk therapy, hypnotherapy, dreamwork, reiki, sandplay therapy, and somatics, What Brings You In is an exploration of when and where our truest selves emerge through a series of new music compositions.

Leslie Ting's What Brings You In is a unique, multilayered work that was a highlight of the Summerworks… programming in 2022…thoughtfully developed this stunning personal piece with deep consideration of the sensory experience and accessibility for both in person and remote audiences…Following Leslie's work over the years, I am continually impressed and inspired with how they expertly meld different technologies maintaining a level of intimacy and care that is often rare with large-scale interdisciplinary work.
