BREAKING NEWS: Comedic legend Bruce McCulloch, who’s hit one-man show YOUNG DRUNK PUNK has not only been turned into a book which will be published by HarperCollins this fall, but which has ALSO been picked up by Rogers Media for a 13-episode scripted comedy series which will begin airing in early 2015! Bruce will begin shooting his new television series this fall, while also touring his live show across Canada.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Comedian, writer, director, and legendary Kid in the Hall, Bruce McCulloch combines stand-up, live music, and assorted autobiographical insights in Young Drunk Punk.
Bruce’s new solo show chronicles his journey from wild early days as a ‘young punk’ in 80s Alberta, to his flannel plaid days and futon nights in 90s Toronto, to becoming a ‘pajama-clad dad’ living in the Hollywood Hills.
Peppered with moments of surprising poignancy, this evening of comedy proves that although this infamous Kid may be all grown up, his singular brand of humour and signature wit remains firmly intact.
“... a definitive image of McCulloch, at once the silliest and most cynical of the Kids, and that sensibility is reflected in his new solo show” – Now Magazine
Tickets: $29.50/$34.50/$39.50 + HST and handling fee.
